MUSIC
Music has always been an integral part of the worship of God, and we are blessed with an excellent music ministry. Our music program includes children, youth and adult choirs, a 39-rank organ built by Casavant Frères of St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada, scholarship students from the University of North Texas vocal music department, and handbell choirs for youth and adults.
While the Chancel Choir is enhanced by section leaders from the University
of North Texas, the mainstay of the choir is the participation of the members
of St. Andrew. The choir is open to all members of the church.
Noel (Grades k-1) and Covenant (Grades 2-5) Choirs
One of the hallmarks of our Super Wednesdays is the outstanding children’s
choir program. This program offers an opportunity for children to sing
songs which let them experience the joy of music and learn the tenets
of the Reformed tradition. Periodically, a CD will be produced from the
hymns that the children have learned throughout the year. This CD is
given to each child who is baptized at St. Andrew. Jannette Hindman has
faithfully served as Children’s Music Director for many years. For

Westminster Youth Choir (Grades 6-12)
Directed by Nathan Furman, a long-standing member of our Chancel Choir, the Westminster Youth Choir gathers once a week for rehearsals and strives to particpate in worship once a month. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 5:45 - 6:15 pm in the Adult Choir Room.
