Super Wednesday Volunteers
January 11 – April 26, Fellowship Hall, 4:30pm

Many willing hands are needed on Wednesday evenings in Fellowship Hall in order for Super Wednesdays to be successful. Volunteers are needed each week to help serve the meal and staff the money table. Sign-up sheets will be posted in Fellowship Hall, so please volunteer an evening or two this fall. Jane Jaegerman will give you a reminder call as your turn to help approaches. Thank You!

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministers are congregation members trained by Stephen Leaders to offer high-quality, one-to-one, confidential Christian care to people going through difficult times.  A new training class will begin on January 22, here at St Andrew, in conjunction with FUMC Denton and Argyle United Methodist Church.  We have Stephen Ministers available to meet with you on a weekly basis to walk with you on this journey through life.

Prayer Ministry Teams

The Prayer teams are made up of members of the Diaconate and members of the Congregation.  We pray for those who are suffering, grieving and/or stressed out from life’s challenges.  Consider becoming a member of one of the teams.  Contact Roger Lewis, [email protected] or Barbara Meriwether, 940-367-2586.

The Diaconate has several programs to provide spiritual, physical, and emotional support to St. Andrew members on the occurrences of births, illnesses, hospitalizations, and deaths. We also serve members who are homebound.

These programs offer an opportunity for anyone to get involved in a rewarding service.
