Our guest speaker this evening will be The Rev. Dr. James A. Forbes, Senior Minister Emeritus of the Riverside Church of New York City. Dr. Forbes is a noted speaker and we look forward with anticipation to hearing from him tonight. Dr. Forbes will preach tomorrow morning during the 10:00am and
again tomorrow evening at 6:15pm.

Adults in Fellowship Hall, 5:30pm

Adults will gather for a meal in Fellowship Hall at 5:30 pm and then Dr. Forbes will share the story of his faith journey with us. He was born and grew up in North Carolina, and as a young man, was determined to become a medical doctor. God had other plans for him, however, and how that plan has been lived out is certain to be an inspiring testimony of faith.

Children in Rec Center, 5:30pm

Children will have pizza in the Rec Center while the adults are engaged in Fellowship Hall. They’ll also participate in a peacemaking event using Listen to the Wind, the story of Greg Mortensen, author of Three Cups of Tea, on how to live together more peaceably.
