Adults
learn-adults

In addition to the Sunday School hour and Super Wednesday tracks, there are many other opportunities for adults to gather and grow as Christians at St. Andrew. We have a Small Group ministry, a Thursday morning Men's Breakfast and Bible Study, a Tuesday afternoon women's Bible Study, as well annual retreats for women and for men.

Presbyterian Women

All women of the church are cordially invited to become members of the Presbyterian Women. The hand of friendship and a warm welcome await you. We nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, support the mission of the church worldwide, work for justice and peace, build an inclusive and caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), and witness to the promise of God’s Kingdom.

Presbyterian Women meet monthly from September through June in small groups for Bible study. We also meet as a larger group several times a year for special programming. Prayer, visitation, and craft activities are also part of our activities.

Circle Meetings

Four circles meet monthly in member’s homes or in the church parlor. Women are encouraged to join a circle for Bible study and fellowship; the 2009-2010 Horizon Bible study is on the Old Testament book of Joshua. Complete details are given in the 2009 Yearbook.

Men's Breakfast & Bible Study

The men's breakfast and Bible study is held Thursday mornings at 7:00 am in Fellowship Hall. The men of St. Andrew gather for an energetic start for the day with a meal, devotional, and a look at the Scripture readings for the coming Sunday. Good-natured fellowship and laughter provide the leaven for the morning and all the men of the congregation are invited to participate in this 50-minute time of nourishment each week. After taking a break for the summer, they will resume meeting Segtember 10, 2009.
