Look out for more fun summer activities to be announced in the next month. We'll be having all youth movie nights & pool parties. We'll take a couple of trips to baseball games and to Six Flags. And there will be a lock-in or two for the middle school students as well!

| YOUTH SPRING EVENTS |

 REMINDER: Senior Appreciation Dinner This Sunday Night!
See that look on Megan's face?!?! Shock and disbelief that her senior appreciation dinner has finally arrived. We hope you'll show her and the other seniors how much we love and appreciate them by attending this Sunday, May 4th at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Be part of this great celebration of their lives and achievements. Dinner is provided and a short program will follow to send them off to the new opportunities awaiting them. We hope to see you then!
Confirmation Sunday
Sunday, May 11th is Confirmation Sunday! Come support our wonderful class of confirmands at the 10:50 worship service as we celebrate their faith journeys and officially welcome them as members of St. Andrew. There will be a reception held for them in the Narthex immediately following the service.

Join us on Sunday, May 18th after worship for our annual Youth Mission BBQ on the front lawn of St. Andrew!
Do these guys look like they're just messing around?!?!Probably...but the Youth BBQ is certainly their favorite day of the year! They told me so. Come reap the benefits of their mighty skills and hard work (fabulous smoked brisket and sausage).
There will be plenty of other good stuff as well including baked goods, face-painting, games and a bounce house for kids, music, and more! Can't stay long? Don't sweat it...we'll even have to-go containers! All donations help send our senior high youth on a mission trip to Puerto Rico this summer. Everyone going on the Puerto Rico trip is expected to come help out starting at 9:15 a.m.

| CREW SUMMER TRIPS |

Puerto Rico Mission Trip
19 senior high students and adults from St. Andrew will be going on a mission trip to Puerto Rico in partnership with youthworks the week of July 6-12. Watch your snail mail for trip details, itinerary, final costs, etc. All participants are expected to help out with the Youth Mission BBQ on May 18th.
Senior High Colorado Backpacking Trip
The dates for this summer's senior high backpacking trip are July 25 - August 1. Space is full, but if you're interested in going, contact Brandon to be put on the waiting list. There is a $100 deposit due Sunday, May 4th for all participants. The total cost of the trip is $225 (balance is due by Sunday, July 13th). Oh, I almost forgot, we have brand new backpacks, sleeping bags and tents this year! Booyah! |

Middle School Outdoor Adventure
Current middle school students have a new and exciting opportunity this summer! We'll be heading up to Pagosa Springs, Colorado on June 7th for some river rafting, backpacking, mountain biking, and some time at the Hot Springs. We'll be staying at the St. Andrew Lodge and will return to Denton on June 12th. More details to come! Talk to Brandon if you're interested. |

Sunday & Wednesday Evening Youth Groups are done for the year, but Sunday School is still happening...
Middle School
All middle school students will be meeting in The Den this summer for Sunday school. Come hang out, participate in some fun activities, and learn something new about God, yourself, relationships with others, or all of the above!
Senior High
Senior high students will continue to meet in the senior high room every Sunday. We'll do a little something new each week. Bring yourself and your friends! Don't worry, we'll have donuts. | |
