CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Children’s ministry is a major emphasis at St. Andrew. Our members work hard to provide quality programs which make all children feel welcome in the life of the church. We also seek to provide resources and programs for families to assist parents in the task of passing on the faith to their children. The Children’s Ministry Committee of St. Andrew coordinates and oversees a variety of programs including a Parents’ Night Out one night a month, a Planned Primary time of age-specific activities for children under five during the Sunday sermon, seasonal workshops for both Advent and Lent, Vacation Bible School during the summer, workshops about worship and the sacraments, summer fellowship outings, and mission projects.

In addition, St. Andrew is home for The Children’s Place, a half-day preschool program which meets each day that the Denton public schools are in session. The Children’s Place is the only private preschool in Denton which is accredited by the National Association of Educators of Young Children.
