New Members

Brandi Schoel and the Svoboda family became members of our congregation Sunday, April 25, 2010.

Welcome to St. Andrew!

Brandi Lynn Schoel - Brandi began attending The Link in September of 2006 and has been with us ever since. She's serving as one of The Link interns and also helps with CREW and element activities. Brandi sings in the Sunday Evening band and is hard at work completing an M.A. in Teaching at TWU as well.

Julie and Brian Svoboda - The Svoboda's have three sons, Drew, 14, George, 6, and Jack, 3. They live in Savannah and just so happen to be neighbors of Jim Hancock's. He invited them to visit us at St. Andrew and the rest is history! They enjoy fishing, baseball, music, and spending time with family and friends.

SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM - A WAY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
June 7-August 17, 2010, Monday-Friday
Fairway Apartments on Ruddell St.

Make plans to help with the lunch program at the Fairway Apartments this summer. The lunches, prepared by Denton Parks & Recreation department, are served to children who might otherwise not have a noon meal. The City of Denton is requiring background checks on all volunteers. Paperwork is due by May 14th.

The Volunteer Agreement can be notarized at the Civic Center if you don't have access to a notary. All four forms can be printed from the St. Andrew website, www.saint-andrew.com. Complete the forms and bring them to the church narthex this Sunday, or drop them off at the church office. If you signed up on May 2nd, Leslie got that information. Thanks!
