St. Andrew to Host Meeting of Grace Presbytery

Saturday, February 27, 9:00am-2:00pm

We need many willing volunteers to staff the following areas in order to welcome the members of Grace Presbytery to St. Andrew in February. Curtis Wells is heading up this effort, and he’s asking those of you who can help in the following areas to get in touch with Sue Russell to volunteer.

Parking Assistants | Greeters | Set-up & Break-down | Registration | Refreshments*

Linda Heilig is coordinating all the refreshment assistance, which will include providing breakfast, finger food, fruit & snacks, as well as staffing the refreshment table in the narthex. Sign-up sheets are on the table in the narthex.

So please, let’s all step up to show Grace Presbytery what true hospitality is all about. Thank You!

We’ve all been shocked at the devastation that has followed the recent major earthquake in Haiti. If you’d like to contribute monetary assistance, you can give through the church, writing “Haiti Relief” on your check memo line.

The youth of St. Andrew will be putting together Hygiene Kits to send to the Haitian people later this month. If you’d like to give any of the following, please drop them off at Brandon Lewis’ office. The kits will be packed in one gallon zip-lock bags (also welcome). Thank You!

One Hygiene Kit
1 16”x28” Hand towel (no finger tip or bath towels, please)
1 Wash cloth
1 Wide-toothed comb
1 Nail clipper (no nail files or emery boards, please)
1 Wrapped bar of bath soap
1 Toothbrush in original packaging

Food from Wal-Mart: Wal-Mart is generously donating food items to Our Daily Bread each week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We are looking for 1-3 people to work on those days to receive the food. Assistance includes logging the items on a receiving document, then weighing the food and placing it on shelves, the refrigerator, or freezer. Training will be provided.
