Plan to be in Fellowship Hall around Noon on Sunday, January 24th. We will share lunch together and enjoy a brief pictorial review of the life and ministry of St. Andrew in 2009. We’ll conclude with the business portion of the day, when we’ll elect five members-at-large to the 2010 Officer Nominating committee, review the pastors’ terms of call, and deliberate on the session’s request for funding for several projects on the west side of our property. The women of St. Andrew will gather for fellowship, good food and good conversation, as well as explore the topic “Understanding Ourselves and Others,” under the leadership of Marty Jones. Ordination & Installation of New Officers – Sunday, January 10, 2010. The diaconate and session classes of 2012 will be ordained and/or installed during the 10:50am worship service this Sunday. Chancel Choir Rehearsals Resume @ 7:30pm Wednesday, January 13th, in the Adult Choir Room. Pagosa Cabin Reservations – Jim White, our facilities manager, is taking reservations for the cabin in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The calendar is wide open, so get in touch with Jim if you’d like a relaxing week in southwestern Colorado this summer. |
CREW – Brandon says be there this Sunday @ 7:30pm in Room 205! CREW=High School Youth Group The Link – Our college ministry resumes Monday, January 25th at 7:00pm. If you can help feed a group of hungry college students on a Monday evening sometime this semester, please get in touch with Brandi Schoel. You can provide a complete meal, a main dish, a side dish, or dessert. Just let Brandi know what and when you’d be willing to help. Thanks! SHYC – Brandon Lewis and CREW, our high school youth group, will be heading to SHYC at Austin College the last weekend in January. This gathering of high school students from across Grace Presbytery is an annual highlight in our youth ministry. |
