We help form disciples of all ages through our Christian Education ministry at St. Andrew, and children are a vital component of that ministry.

Sunday Morning for Children

Nursery
Our nursery for infants and toddlers is staffed from 8:30am until after the 10:50am worship service on Sunday mornings.

Sunday School Classes for Children

We Believe is the curriculum used in preschool and elementary classes during the Sunday school hour. It is written and published by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and helps children engage with the familiar Bible stories of our faith. Friends and visitors are always welcome.

Elementary-aged Children
Gather in the Gym, 9:30-9:45am
Elementary-aged children are invited to the Rec Center to begin the morning together. They'll sing, hear the Bible story overview, practice the memory verse of the month, and pray. This gathering provides a chance for the children to connect and get centered before heading off to their classrooms with their teachers.

Sunday Morning Children’s Chapel

For preschoolers and kindergarteners, this worship time for young children begins after the children’s sermon in the 10:50am worship service. Godly Play helps the children explore the purpose and meaning of worship in a variety of ways using the resources in the children’s chapel upstairs. Parents pick their children up after the 10:50 service concludes.

Our Sexuality:  A Gift from God
April 15, 22, & 29

Small group sessions for elementary-aged children and group sessions for their parents, designed to give them the opportunity to learn and discuss this gift from God to humanity in a safe, friendly environment. The Parent Forum gives parents an overview of the classes and the chance to ask questions. The children meet with their peers and the parent classes are offered during the same time in April. Stay tuned for more information about leaders and meeting locations.

Super Wednesday for Children
January 11-April 25, 2012

 Our Super Wednesday acitivities begin with the evening meal in Fellowship Hall at 5:30pm. A nursery for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers is provided from 5:30-7:30pm. Children's activities begin at 6:15pm.

6:15pm – Covenant Choir, grades 2-5, Children’s choir room, with director Jannette Hindman
                  Kindergarteners and first graders meet Malicia Curran in FH
7:00pm – Noel Choir, K-1st, Children’s choir room, with director Jannette Hindman
                  2-5 grades go to Rec Center with Malicia Curran
